High-Scope Approach

Our school promotes this pedagogy for children during play time. The pedagogy can be divided into 3 parts: Plan - Do- Review. ‘Plan’- children can follow their wish to choose and arrange activities, record and share the outcome with teachers and peers. ‘Do’- children follow their plan to complete the activities. ‘Review’- Children will reflect and review their work process and learning experiences after they’ve done their work. The process helps build up children problem solving skills and they can make a better plan next time. Moreover, it can improve their planning ability, verbal expression and self-reflection.
